How do i get rid of static sound on my p.c. speakers?
sounds like either you have a crappy sound system or your speakers arent fully plugged in.
Reply:The ones you have are probably fuc*** up and you will need to buy new ones, this can happen if you play music too loud for extended periods of time.
Reply:you turnoff your old soundcard and reinstall your newone or reinstall the codecs if you havent recently put ina new soundcard
Reply:Some speaker cables are "magnetically sheilded" and others are not. If your speakers cables are not shielded then they are more suceptible to outside interface (like that coming from Cell Phones, Microwaves, etc. The easiest way to check for unshielded cables is to place your cell phone near your speakers and call the phone. If the speakers start acting up when the phone rings then you have unshielded cables. If this is case, try re-routing the speaker cables in an effort to avoid interference causing devices (such as the monitor).
Reply:turn them off
Reply:if you are getting static only when you play cds you have burned there is a wy to fix that.

static is caused by burning music at too high a speed. burn it at different speeds until you get it the way that sounds best to you.
Reply:sometimes turning down the SPEAKER volume does the trick. If that doesnt work try checking your wiring and make sure each wire is pluggen in where its supposed to be. Your sound card might be bad too. Otherwise you might have just blown a speaker. good luck n hey dont submerge your speakers in cold water!! That guys tryin to ruin your speakers.
Reply:minimize speaker volume...
Reply:buy better speakers ;)
Reply:Turn the volume down, if you can try adjusting the base. If neither works, throw them out... (wire's probably bad)
